At RGS, we are committed to respecting and protecting the intellectual property rights of our clients, partners, and third parties. This policy outlines how we handle intellectual property (IP) in connection with the printing, reproduction, and design services we provide.
Client Ownership of Submitted Content
- All files, artwork, designs, photographs, and other materials submitted by the client for printing remain the intellectual property of the client or rightful owner.
- By submitting content to us, the client confirms that they own the rights to the materials or have obtained the appropriate permissions or licenses to reproduce them.
- We do not claim ownership over any client-submitted content.
Permission to Reproduce
By placing an order, the client grants RGS a limited, non-exclusive right to reproduce, print, and process the submitted materials solely for the purpose of fulfilling the order.
We do not use, publish, or share client content for any other purpose without
prior written consent.
Use of Printed Samples for Display
- We may retain a physical copy of a completed printed product for the sole purpose of showcasing print quality, material, or craftsmanship to prospective customers.
- Content within the sample will not be shared, reproduced, or distributed, and will only be used as a tangible demonstration of our work.
- Clients who do not wish their printed items to be used as samples may opt out by informing us in writing at the time of order placement.
Copyright Infringement
- It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that all materials submitted do not infringe on any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights. We reserve the right to refuse any order that we suspect may violate third-party intellectual property rights.
- RGS will not be held liable for unauthorized use of protected content provided by the client.
Use of In-House Designs or Templates
- Any design, template, or layout created by RGS remains the intellectual property of the company, unless explicitly transferred or licensed in writing.
- Clients may not reproduce, modify, or distribute these designs without prior written approval.
Archiving of Client Files
- We may retain copies of client-submitted files for a limited period to facilitate reorders or quality assurance. If you wish to have your files deleted after job completion, please inform us in writing.
- All retained files are stored securely and treated as confidential.
